Learning Outcomes
In this course, you will learn how to:
- Understand the purpose and importance of both entry and exit inspections
- Learn the legal and regulatory requirements governing entry and exit inspections per state and territory
- Develop skills and techniques for conducting effective inspections and learn how to systematically
- Effectively communicate with Tenants, Landlords and colleagues throughout the inspection process and develop proficiency in documenting inspection results, utilising proper terminology, and maintaining accurate records
- Identify fair wear and tear vs. Tenant responsibility and evaluate damages caused by Tenant misuse, neglect, or intentional acts, and apply appropriate criteria to determine what requires Tenant rectification
- Reduce or eliminate the need for re-inspections from the point where an end of tenancy is triggered
- Implement best practice standards and measurements and understand the importance of following consistent procedures, adhering to established guidelines and utilising standard inspection checklists, ensuring fairness, accuracy and consistency in inspections.,
